Frankenmuth has great meeting spaces.
So you have been to one meeting space, you have been to them all… or so you thought! But Michigan’s Little Bavaria might just surprise you. We have space for meetings ranging between 5-500, and we are happy to list them off for you.
Let’s start with hosting a meeting all under one roof: The Bavarian Inn Lodge and Zehnder’s Splash Village.
The Bavarian Inn Lodge holds our largest meeting space in town that can accommodate up to 500 people in a banquet style. However, with 17 different meeting space configurations inside, you can easily host a meeting for as intimate as 12. The Bavarian Inn Lodge has 360 guest rooms, as well as two restaurants, free wifi, and all of the AV equipment needed for your meeting. Not to mention, the delicious Frankenmuth chicken is on the menu! Traveling with the kids, or possibly a few kids-at heart? No worries, below the meeting spaces and out of sight is the Family Fun Center: four indoor pools, three whirlpools, two waterslides, mini-golf, dozens of the newest arcade games, and even karaoke.
Zehnder’s Splash Village is extremely popular for its ENORMOUS indoor waterpark. And when we say enormous, we really mean 50,000 square feet of waterpark fun for the whole team and their families. Tube slides, a splash-pad structure with a dump bucket, six-story family raft ride and super loop body slide, Giggling Gorge and Perilous Plunge 4 story tube slides, relax in the Whimsical Whirl Hot Tub or just float along the Crooked Brook Creek Lazy River. Did we mention the retractable atrium roof? But enough of the fun, back to business; Splash Village also offers a beautiful and modern meeting space upstairs overlooking the waterpark. It seats 100 banquet style and is perfect for your next retreat. Need to stay the night? Splash Village offers 146 deluxe guest rooms including 72 suites.
We have private meeting space in some of our most delicious restaurants too: Bavarian Inn Restaurant, Zehnder’s Restaurant, The Frankenmuth Brewery, Prost! Wine Bar and Charcuterie, and DaVinci’s Italian Restaurant.
Do you want your meeting to smell of delicious, juicy, golden fried chicken? Who doesn’t?! Then the Bavarian Inn Restaurant or Zehnder’s Restaurant is the best bet for you! We are frequently asked, well what is the difference between the two chicken-dinner restaurants? Zehnder’s is early-American-themed and offers 9 different dining rooms that can serve over 1,500 at one time. Across the street, the Bavarian Inn Restaurant is German through and through. The waitstaff wear dirndls and lederhosen, and each private dining room has a different German-theme. The Bavarian Inn Restaurant offers 14 different dining rooms that hold up to 375 people total. On top of that, both restaurants have a shuttle service that can take your guests from the restaurant to their partnering hotels.
The Frankenmuth Brewery is another great option for your next meeting. The high ceilings and great patio dining are just the beginnings of what make this historic brewery so stunning. Along with great food and beer, the Frankenmuth Brewery offers 6 different private dining and meeting spaces for parties ranging from 12-140 banquet style. And, if you call ahead of time, you can even schedule a free brewery tour and see how the beer is created and bottled right there in the Brewery still today.
Prost! Wine Bar & Charcuterie is one of our newest restaurants in town and just last year they added an intimate private side room, the Side Door Cellar, for 20 people total. The walls are lined with wine bottles and the ambiance is incredible. Buzzfeed named Prost! Michigan’s Best Wine Bar in 2016; so we welcome all wine snobs and novices alike.
Looking for some incredible, hearty food and a cozy atmosphere? DaVinci’s Italian Restaurant has the perfect meeting space for up to 50 people banquet style. DaVinci’s offers breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a full bar, so be ready to leave full.
We even have some smaller conference spaces in two of our hotels in town: the Drury Inn & Suites and the Holiday Inn Express & Suites.
The Drury Inn & Suites can accommodate up 30 people, and the hotel offers free hot breakfasts as well as evening drinks. The Holiday Inn Express & Suites can hold 12 in the their small board room. The hotel also offers free breakfasts in the morning as well.
I cant say no to free #Tequila Sunrises. Getting my #drink on at Drury Inn in #Frankenmuth, #Michigan. This hotel is beautiful. Last, but not least, let’s take a look at some unique, unusual, and truly special spaces we have in town that could be the next best space for your meeting: The Frankenmuth Farmers Market, Fischer Hall, The Lager Mill, and our local parks.
The Frankenmuth Farmers Market was built just over two years ago, and the gorgeous open-air pavilion and Gathering Barn show it! The Gathering Barn is magically lit with string lights, a beautifully polished concrete floor, and space for up to 100 banquet style. But the kicker, you can bring in your own food and alcohol. Not to mention, there is an Artisan’s Kitchen with a stone oven for pizzas and all of the top-grade cooking equipment you would need. Want to try something different? bring in a gourmet chef of your own, or, ask the Farmer’s Market to recommend one and teach a cooking class along with your meeting.
Fischer Hall was built in the late 1800’s and has witnessed much of Frankenmuth’s history, serving as a host site for weddings, graduations, theater performances, concerts, and more. Beautifully restored to its pre-1900’s appearance, you now have the opportunity to experience this living piece of history by booking Fischer Hall for your next meeting.
The Lager Mill is a truly different space for your next meeting. This three story mill is a brewing museum as well as a specialty craft beer store. The very top floor can seat about 20 people comfortably and would make a fun space for a different kind of meeting. For more info on renting out that space, contact the Frankenmuth Historical Museum.
Our local parks are a great way to take a meeting outside and enjoy the sunshine! To find out more about our parks and pavilions, call the Frankenmuth Parks and Recreation.
