Craft Beer & Wine

Award-winning brews to Michigan-made wines — finding your perfect pour in Frankenmuth always goes down smoothly.

Brewing’s just in our blood here. So, while you won’t find a taproom on every corner, what you’ll gladly trade it for is a place built on 150-plus years of brewing tradition.

Tour America’s oldest microbrewery, Frankenmuth Brewery, then taste their award-winning ales and lagers (plus seasonal pours like fall’s Oktoberfest or winter’s Christmas Town Ale). Sample Michigan’s greatest selection of German beer at Bavarian Inn Restaurant, 20 craft handles at Zehnder’s Tap Room, or 17 Mitten-made brews at Michigan on Main. Our 16-person PedAle Trolley will have you biking through town with your favorite brew in-hand!

Rather go wine tasting in Frankenmuth? You don’t have to be a sommelier (or anything close) to fully enjoy here. Our tasting rooms favor a down-to-earth approach — and one that spotlights Michigan wines — so just sit back, relax, and drink those grapes.

Build a flight made from fruit grown along the Lake Michigan shoreline at the tasting room of Michigan’s most-awarded winery, St. Julian. Experiment with fruit-infused, made-to-be-mixed wines at Modern Craft, or artisan ones off the Traverse Wine Coast at Black Star Farms.

Cozy up by Prost!’s outdoor firebar for a global wine selection with six on tap, or go wine tasting on the water with a dreamy Frankenmuth FunShips cruise — where the Peach & Honey vino always pairs perfectly with those sunset river views!
