Start your morning with a Patriotic Praise Service in honor and commemoration of Independence Day. Held at the Harvey Kern Pavilion, veterans, active duty, and first responders will be recognized and honored. Take the afternoon to peruse through and picnic around the parks of Frankenmuth. Then, you can rest, relax, and enjoy a 'Concert in the Park' at the Palmer Schau Platz in Memorial Park for some sweet tunes. Maybe even have a Sunday sundae at Jaami's Ice Cream & Treats.

Take a lunch break at Zehnder's of Frankenmuth or Bavarian Inn Restaurant for world-famous chicken...it's delicious. And keep the spark alive with an evening Fireworks Show! We recommend finding your spot by 9:30PM as fireworks will launch from Heritage Park when it gets dark.

Insider Tip! Cheer on the Volksläufe (The People's Race) runners throughout town. This annual celebration of family, friendship, and fitness is presented by The Frankenmuth Jaycees. All proceeds from the Volksläufe will serve to fund the July 3rd fireworks display. Any excess proceeds will be donated to various charitable causes.
