The Bavarian Fest Street Party comes back again this year, taking place on Friday, June 7th of Bavarian Festival weekend from 5pm-10pm. You and your whole family won’t want to miss all of the excitement and fun of this free event happening right on Frankenmuth's Main Street.

1. Where is it?

Main Street will be closed to traffic from Covered Bridge Lane to Cass Street and lined with fun from 5-10pm. With free admission, all ages are welcome to come and enjoy the evening celebration.

2. What is there to eat?

Along with our delicious restaurants along Main Street, there will be an abundance of food and treat vendors lining the streets. Choose between fried and grilled chicken, grilled cheese and soup, refreshing snow ice, cotton candy, and more... or try them all!

3. What is there to do?

Along with street games, entertainment, and kids activities, there will be a 300ft long zip line placed right in the middle of all the fun! The Polka Riot! will be rocking out on Main Street at 5pm and 8pm, and Da Frankenmuda Fratz'n will be performing at 7:30pm. There's music and fun to enjoy in both of the festival tents as well! Check out bavarianfestival.org/event-schedule for more details on performers and showtimes.

A fireworks show will take to the sky to end the evening at 10pm!

4. What's it gonna cost me?

Access to the street party is free! The only thing you'll pay for is food or drinks at vendors, and to ride the zipline which is $5 per person.

If you want the most bang for your buck, buying an admission ticket for only $10 will get you access to both tents for the entire weekend! These tents are filled with live music, traditional German performances, and much more!

5. Where should I park?

Parking is free and can be found at the River Place Shops, Zehnder’s Restaurant, Bavarian Inn Restaurant, behind the Visitor’s Center, and on side streets off of Main Street.

6. What is there to do after the street party ends?

The event will shut down promptly at 10pm, but the party will continue inside the Main Tent at Zehnder Park or the Rock Tent behind Tiffany's!

7. What should I wear?

We recommend you dress for the weather and put on your walking shoes. But don't forget to look the part and wear traditional German attire if you have it!
