To help make planning easier, this two-day itinerary will help you plan the perfect golf getaway!

Day One

Tee off at The Fortress Golf Course. This 18-hole, par 72 course is located just outside of downtown Frankenmuth. Recognized as one of Michigan's top golf courses, this course was designed in 1992 by golf architect Dick Nugent. While enjoying the day on this course that reflects characteristics of golf's early Scottish origins, be sure to take a break and enjoy lunch at the clubhouse!

After enjoying a day on the golf course, enjoy a relaxing ride along the Cass River on the Frankenmuth FunShips or Bavarian Belle.

For dinner head to The Frankenmuth Brewery, where you can enjoy a cold glass of locally crafted beer and River Front views!

Cap off your evening with one more round of golf - putt putt golf that is! The Family Fun Center at the Bavarian Inn Lodge features an indoor 18-hole putt putt course! Or head to the Lorelei Lounge at the Bavarian Inn Lodge for a night cap and some live music.

Day Two

Just a short drive outside of Frankenmuth, sits the Timber’s Golf Club and Green Acres Golf Course. Tee off for day two at either one of these 18-hole courses that incorporate many of the natural features of the area including natural grasses, woodlots, ponds, and wetland areas.

Wrap up your golf trip with a team dinner at the Bavarian Inn Restaurant or Zehnder’s of Frankenmuth. Celebrate the low (or high scores) while enjoying a chicken dinner feast!

And don’t forget to grab a souvenir for those at home! Main Street is the perfect place to find a tasty treat to take home - candy from Zak & Mac’s Chocolate Haus, Fudge from the Frankenmuth Fudge Kitchen, or a new type of cheese from the Frankenmuth Cheese Haus are all perfect options!

Did you know that Frankenmuth has a Disc Gold Course?

Located in Memorial Park, the area's only disc golf course, is free and open to the public. The course stretches almost 6,000 feet through the open grassy areas and rolling hills of Michigan's Little Bavaria! The first hole starts just across the creek from the dog park on E. Tuscola, approximately ½ mile east of Main St.
