About the Author:
Tricia Ryndak Rohleder is an elementary teacher who believes children are our greatest gift. Inspired by her sons and a kindergarten class, she wrote this book years ago, with her niece—then a teenager—illustrating each page. Just published a few months ago, the book has already delighted young readers and teachers alike. Its repetitive sentence structure, metaphors, and onomatopoeia make it engaging in the classroom; students love finishing the story as it’s read aloud. The biggest compliment? Smiles from its toughest critics—children themselves! Tricia is thrilled to finally share this book with families everywhere.
