Fuel your weekend with a frenzy of classic cars.

History

The Frankenmuth Auto Fest started in 1983 in the St.Lorenz Parking Lot. The event then has since sparked what it is now, an annual festival extending throughout downtown Frankenmuth. It sees over 180,000 people from a variety of neighboring areas, states, and the country and welcomes cars from the same. Every year, there are about 2500 cars that come from Florida, California, Texas, and even Canada!

Festivities

Friday welcomes a 'wheely' good time in Heritage Park with car models of all shapes, years, and sizes, gas card giveaways, vendors, food, and the Big Block Party on Main Street. Gear up again on Saturday for more car showings, gas card giveaways, and of course, the Fireworks of Auto Fest (sponsored by Frankenmuth Insurance). Stroll the streets on Sunday to see classics ride downtown in style, and remember to wrap up your weekend with the Awards Ceremony and Special Veterans Presentation.

Notes

The Bavarian Cup Showcase will be available upon admission all weekend. There will be a free shuttle bus to parking lots on Saturday. There will also be a 'Super Sunday!' showcasing cars made after 1988. And, 12 & under are free.

Can't make it this year? Join us next year the weekend after Labor Day!
