72 Hours: Group Itinerary
Experience 72 hours in a place that feels like home and welcomes you likes family...

Day 1:
Start your trip off by arriving at the Visitor Center. This is the perfect place to allow your group a chance to use the restroom, stretch their legs, and have a personalized greeting from one of our friendly staff! (Allow 20 - 30 minutes)
The Visitor Center is a great place to pick up your step-on guide for a tour of Frankenmuth! A step-on guide tour is a unique way to show your group every part of Michigan’s Little Bavaria. (Allow 1 hour)
To enhance your step-on guided tour, add a stop at St.Lorenz Church, founded in 1845. This historical site features one-of-a-kind stained glass windows that tell the story of Frankenmuth. (Allow 30 minutes - 1 hour)
Stop by the River Place Shops to do a little shopping. With over 30 unique boutiques and shops to browse through, everyone is sure to find a treat to take with them! Allow your group to shop and enjoy lunch on their own at one of our many unique dining experiences . (Allow 1.5 hours)
While at River Place Shops, hop aboard the Bavarian Belle. This hour-long cruise along the Cass River is the perfect relaxing tour of town. The boat operates May through October and runs every 1.5 hours everyday beginning at 11am. (Allow 1 hour)
Head to St. Julian’s for a little wine tasting before dinner. (Allow 30 minutes)
Enjoy dinner with a view at the Frankenmuth Brewery. The picturesque views of the Cass River make this a perfect place to end the evening. (Allow 1.5 hours)
Before heading to the hotel for the evening, drive through Christmas Lane to check out the beautiful lights that shine bright every day of the year beginning at dusk! (Allow 10 minutes)
Day 2:
Start day two off with a stop at the Frankenmuth Clock and German Gift Company. (Allow 45 minutes)
Continue on to Bronner’s CHRISTmas Wonderland. Once you've gazed at the more than 50,000 gifts, trims, and decor, walk across the parking lot to Silent Night Memorial Chapel. (Allow 2 hours).
Enjoy lunch on your own on Main Street followed by free time for a little exploring and shopping. (Allow 3 hours)
Take your group on a historical adventure at Frankenmuth Woolen Mill with a guided tour and optional Make-Your-Own Dryer Ball experience. (Allow 1-1.5 hours)
Next, head to the Bavarian Inn Restaurant for a hands-on pretzel rolling experience! Your group will not only learn about the history of the pretzel, but also make one that they can enjoy later! (Allow 30 minutes)
If planned just right, your group can catch the Glockenspiel show at the Bavarian Inn Restaurant before heading to dinner!
Gather around the table and enjoy a family-style chicken dinner at the Bavarian Inn Restaurant or Zehnder’s of Frankenmuth! Give your group a little extra time to shop in the lower level bakeries and gift shops. (Allow 2-2.5 hours)
End the evening with a little free time for an evening stroll. The new river walk is the perfect place to enjoy a peaceful evening along the Cass River. And on Main Street you can find live music throughout the summer and beautiful lights in the winter. (Allow 1-1.5 hours)
Day 3:
Begin day three with a trip to a Museum or two: The Frankenmuth Historical Museum and Michigan Heroes Museum offer guided tours that will leave your group with new knowledge and fun information! (Allow 1 hour)
Next journey to one of our historic working farms, at Grandpa Tiny’s Farm or Weiss Centennial Farm you group will be able to experience a real historic working farm! With everything from hands-on activities, to history, to a petting zoo, these farms have it all! (Allow 1-1.5 hours)
Before departing, enjoy a delicious lunch at one of our group friendly restaurants: daVinci’s Italian Restaurant, Poblano’s Mexican Grill & Cantina, Slo’ Bones BBQ Smokehaus, or Wang’s Bistro. (Allow 1.5 hours)
