The most exciting day of the year (except for every single Farmers Market Day) is Opening Day of the outdoor Farmers Market this Saturday, 8am to 2pm!
Swing on in for a grand celebration with your growers, producers and farmers! Saturday as the Market starts up for its 14th season, there will be spring produce, flowers and plants for potting and gardening, lots of great foods, and much more. As of press time, confirmed vendors include Jacque B’s Greenhouse with potted plants and flowers, 81 Maple maple syrup products, Carigan Family Farm produce, Classy Wicks candles, Eight Plates Farm grass fed beef, Hicks Dairy, Hoffman Farms produce and plants, Island Farms certified organic produce, La Fattoria organic hoophouse produce, Martins Produce fruits and vegetables, Miller Family Orchard fruit, pies, and jellies, Pampered Pups pet products, Tipsy Glassworks, and Salts of the Earth salts and seasonings.
We will also be selling wood-fired brick oven pizzas in our Artisans Kitchen. In addition to classic choose-your-own toppings pizza, we’ll feature three specialty pies. Blueberry, topped with balsamic, olive oil, blueberries, bleu cheese and pistachios with a honey drizzle, is more savory than sweet. FunGuy Mushroom Truffle stars a mushroom cream sauce, mushrooms, mixed cheese and feta, and optional truffle essence. ‘Mary Raspberry gets baked with white balsamic, raspberries, Brie, bacon and rosemary. We can do plain cheese pizza if you like that too.
We’ll have $12 pizzas or $4 slices during the mid-day. You can also call in orders for take-out.
