Here in Pure Michigan, there’s no sweeter way to wave goodbye to summer and say hello to fall than cozying up beneath the stars (and beneath our hoppin’ Frankenmuth festival tents!), posting up inside the Harvey Kern Pavilion at Heritage Park with a cold Bavarian brew and a hand-rolled German pretzel in hand, or browsing thousands of classic cars before heading to the biggest block party of the season. Because, in Frankenmuth, festival season doesn’t slow down at the end of summer – in fact, the unforgettable Pure Michigan moments found only at our Frankenmuth festivals are just getting started!
Check out 4 upcoming fall festivals you won’t want to miss here in Frankenmuth:

Over 2,500 classic cars, street rods, and muscle cars fill Heritage Park for three full days of an auto lover’s dream when Frankenmuth Auto Fest returns this September. Absolutely not to be missed is the Friday night Big Block Party from 5-10 p.m., where Main Street is flooded with live entertainment, food vendors, and over 2,000 rides. And Saturday night’s after-show Oldies Fest doesn’t disappoint, either – including a live music tent, dancing, food, and beverages, all inside the Harvey Kern Pavilion at Heritage Park, and all for just $15/person! Be sure to fuel up at Sunday morning’s Lion’s Club Pancake Breakfast and stick around town for the 1 p.m. awards ceremony, where you’ll have a chance at one of 60 German steins awarded by your fellow car enthusiasts!

As the only officially sanctioned Oktoberfest celebration outside of Munich, Germany’s original, Frankenmuth Oktoberfest welcomes you to raise a stein of Hofbrauhaus and shout “Ein Prosit” as you eat, drink, and dance in authentic German style at its 28th annual celebration. Dance in your dirndl and lederhosen to the sweet sounds of the Schuhplattlers, Sorgenbrecher, and more, enjoy an authentic German meal, and snag some of Bavaria’s best brews on tap. Best of all, just $10 gets your ticket to all the German goodness that fills Heritage Park for this 4-day full-on extravaganza. But, be sure to take advantage of the inexpensive shuttle service making continuous loops between the festivities and your favorite Frankenmuth hotels – all for just $3 per person per ride.
