Zehnder’s Spanish Wine Dinner

Enjoy a five-course dinner prepared by Zehnder’s Professional Chefs, paired with a variety of wines presented by Great Lakes Wine & Spirits on Thursday, November 7th, 2024 inside the Tap Room at Zehnder’s of Frankenmuth. Cocktails start at 5:30PM and dinner is served at 6:30PM.

1st Course:

Sopa Campera with Chorizo

Bell Peppers, Tomatoes, Carrots, White Beans, Green Peas, Green Peas, Herbs, Chorizo, topped with Crispy Croutons and Hard Cooked Eggs

Paired with a 2023 Martin Codax Albarino

2nd Course:

Ensalada Mixta

Romaine and Frisee, Red and Yellow Grape Tomatoes, Artichoke Hearts, Pickled Red Onions, Anchovy Stuffed Olives, Tuna, Cucumber, Bell Peppers, Red Wine Herb Vinaigrette

Paired with a Mercat Brut Cava Sparkling Wine

3rd Course:

Paella Valenciana

Slow Braised Rabbit and Chicken with Short Grain Rice, Saffron, White Beans, Tomatoes, Peppers, Herbs

Paired with a 2023 Bieler Pere et Fils Sabine Rose

4th Course:

Seared Duck Breast with Pedro Zimenez Reduction

Seared Duck Breast on a Pedro Ximinez Reduction, topped with Chimichurri, served with Patatas Bravas (roasted Potatoes in Spicy Tomato Sauce) and Roasted Mediterranean Vegetables)

Paired with a 2018 Cune Rioja Reserva

5th Course:

Mexican Chocolate Lava Cake

Delicate Chocolate Cake with Smokey Chili Powder, Cinnamon and a Pinch of Cayenne, oozing with Warm Molten Ganache
