Celebrate fall in Michigan’s Little Bavaria during Scarecrow Fest, with a fun, family-friendly festival at Frankenmuth River Place Shops and special scarecrow displays throughout downtown Frankenmuth!
Taking place across two weekends in October (10/19 - 10/20 & 10/26 - 10/27), Scarecrow Fest includes special fall-themed activities for everyone in the family. Saturday and Sunday during both weekends from 12:00PM to 6:00PM, try your hand at the pumpkin catapult and see how far you can launch a pumpkin! Other fun, fall-themed activities include pumpkin bowling, arts & crafts, pumpkin painting, and riding Grandpa Tiny’s Barrel Train! Some activities have a small fee; though, there is no entry fee for the Scarecrow Fest event.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁 on October 19-20 is set up to be a BLAST! With 6 performances from the Rock 'N' Roll K9 team — 3 shows on Saturday, October 19, at 11:00AM, 1:00PM, and 3:00PM & Sunday at 11:00AM and 1:30PM.
On Sunday, October 20, the doggie costume contest is at 4:30PM on the Fest Platz Stage. Following the costume contest, there is a doggie pet trick-or-treating throughout the complex from 5:30PM – 6:00PM.
Both days enjoy FREE Family Entertainment with Jon LaChance! Celebrate the spirit of the season and be dazzled by a magic performance from Jon LaChance - his show features impossible magic, side-splitting comedy, and audience involvement! You won't want to miss a minute!
