Hot Shot Media Archery Contest for Charity

Bronner's 13th Annual Hot Shot Archery Contest to Benefit Charities - Local media celebrities will be aiming at $1400 for their favorite charity when they take a bow and arrows in hand February 7th at Bronner's CHRISTmas Wonderland. The preliminary round of Bronner's Hot Shot Local Media Celebrity Archery Contest will be held at 10:30 a.m. at south checkout. Three entrants will advance to the final round. The winner will earn a check from Bronner's for $1400 for his/her favorite charity. The other two finalists will earn checks from Bronner's for $500 for their favorite charities and the others will earn $250 for their favorite charity.

Eleven media celebrities are competing in the archery shoot:

  • Tom Lounsbury with the Tuscola County Advertiser for the Great Start Tuscola Imagination Library
  • Johnny Burke with 103.9 The Fox for the Johnny Burke Children’s Foundation
  • Pat Johnston with WSGW 100.5 FM for the American Cancer Society
  • Peter Brooks with Family Life Radio for Youth Haven Ranch
  • Pat Clark with WCRZ Cars 108 for the Autism Support and Research Center
  • Caitlyn French with MLive/The Bay City Times for the Bay County Humane Society
  • Ahmad Bajjey with NBC 25/Fox 66 for The Rainbow Connection
  • Ric Antonio with WSGW 790 AM for Rescue Ministries of Mid-Michigan
  • Jason Lewis with ABC 12 for Habitat for Humanity of Genesee County
  • James Paxson with Mix 106.3 for the National Alliance on Mental Illness of Michigan
  • Chris Easlick with WNEM 5 - Charity to be determined.

The public is invited to attend and cheer on their favorite media celebrities. Each archer will receive five points in the preliminary round for each fan who attends and registers his support prior to the start of the contest. This event promotes Bronner’s Be My Valentine Sale.
