Join Zehnder's on March 20th-22nd, 2024 for Simon & Garfunkel Tribute Lunch Shows. 1981: The Concert is a stunning recreation of Simon & Garfunkel’s 1981 Concert in Central Park.
Simon & Garfunkel’s Concert in Central Park was one of the largest concerts in U.S. history and remains one of the most beloved concerts of all time. Although it was attended by over 500,000 people, most of us didn’t have the opportunity to attend this iconic show. 1981: The Concert recreates this awe-inspiring concert with attention to every detail. This upbeat 90-minute show will take you back in time to Friday, September 19th, 1981…that cool September night in New York City when Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel reunited for the concert of a lifetime.
"Mrs. Robinson," "Homeward Bound," "Bridge Over Troubled Water," "The Boxer," "Scarborough Fair," "The Sound of Silence"…these are just a few of the featured songs that have made Simon & Garfunkel one of the most successful artists of all time.
1981: The Concert pays homage to these 2 American music icons and stays true to the beauty of their timeless songs. Complete with a full 9-piece back-up band and horn section, the warm blending harmonies and crisp guitar work recreate the sound, look, and feel of this legendary duo in their most famous performance ever.
Lunch Shows start at 12:00PM and are held in Zehnder’s beautiful Main Dining Room. Cost is $58.00 per person, reservations required.
