End the patriotic month of July with some culinary fireworks at the Frankenmuth Farmers Market as Chefs Lance Buchinger CSC and Dietrich Bronner present deconstructed, reconstructed takes on classic, iconic American dishes. Enjoy this ten-course pop-up tasting menu and experience familiar food from American cuisine presented in entirely new ways. This boundary pushing menu will open up windows in the local culinary scene, showing what can be done and changing how guests appreciate local food. The menu includes modernist takes on a BLT, Buffalo Chicken, Wedge Salad, Burger, Ants on a Log, Summer BBQ, USA Sorbet, Shrimp ‘n’ Grits, PBJ, and a Dessert Trio of S’mores, Cookies and Milk, and Apple, Blueberry and Cherry Pies a la Mode. Edible cocktails will include a champagne gelee with “caviar,” mac-n-cheese martini, waldorf salad, and jack-and-coke. The event is run by volunteers as a fundraiser for the Frankenmuth Farmers Market and tickets for this event are $50.
