This is 50,000 sq. ft. of raft rides, lazy rivers, water geysers, and speed slides you don’t want to miss out on. For more aquatic fun, splish and splash on over to the Bavarian Inn Waterpark (soon to be the largest indoor waterpark in Michigan).

Take a tour through time in the Frankenmuth Historical Museum to discover the building blocks of our town, established by German settlers in 1845. Expand your learning journey to the outdoors with the Frankenmuth Historical Museum's interactive walking tour. See a piece or place of history, scan a QR code, and watch an informational video about that specific location. You and your family can also walk around the only museum of its kind in the United States. Frankenmuth’s Michigan Heroes Museum features uniform displays of Michigan Veterans from our six foreign wars and the space program.
#3). Activate Arcade Skills
Get your game on at the River Place Game Room, Family Fun Center, or Zehnder’s Arcade. Air hockey, mini golf, Pinball, and Pac-Man are all in the realm of possibility when it comes to vacationing arcade-style in Michigan’s Little Bavaria. With over 200 games amongst each arcade facility, the options are endless. So, are you going to play to win?
#4). SHOP, PLEASE DON'T DROP
Shop the Bavarian streets of beautiful Frankenmuth this spring. Boutique, souvenir, and sweet treat shops offer everyone in the family a chance to find a special something that will help them remember and represent the trip of a lifetime. Want to dive deeper into our German roots? Visit our one-of-a-kind River Place Shops. Modeled after an authentic Bavarian village, our River Place features over 40 unique shops, and countless spots for the perfect family photo. Start your shopping trail at the Visitor Center to partake in Frankenmuth's very own Gnome Hunt! Pick up a gnome hunt sheet, track down and record 15 gnomes, then return to the Visitor Center along with your sheet to win a prize.
#5). ESCAPE TO EXPERIENCE
Engage the family in something that might surprise you! Here in Frankenmuth, we have out-of-the-box experiential opportunities. For the ‘Forged in Fire’ fans, the Bavarian Blacksmith Experience allows you to forge your very own piece. For those that love a good challenge, The Ultimate Mirror Maze is a labyrinth that navigates you through thousands of mirrors.
