An Introduction is in order...

The Frankenmuth Chamber of Commerce and Convention & Visitors Bureau usescombined business resources and lodging tax dollars to ensure that Frankenmuth is as economically healthy as possible.    Our focus on retail, professional, tourism and economic development enablesus to carry out that objective.  We are supported in that effort by over 75% of the Frankenmuth business community.

Organizational Goals

1.  Maintain Frankenmuth’s status as one of Michigan’s top visitor destinations.

2.  Enhance the community’s image and heritage as “Michigan’s Little Bavaria.”

3.  Create avenues and opportunities to promote the quality products and services of area businesses.

4.  Encourage the retention, growth and development of businesses complimentary to our community.

5.  Promote excellence in hospitality and customer service as a way of doing business.

6.  Serve as Frankenmuth’s business ambassador and liaison with all other entities.

Mission

The mission of the Frankenmuth Chamber of Commerce and Convention & Visitors Bureau is to promote Frankenmuth and the prosperity of all businesses in the community through a unified organization.  We will promote cooperation and unity in the community, foster “Gemütlichkeit,” and nurture our Bavarian heritage.

Vision

Frankenmuth will continue to build on the solid foundation our forefathers have established.  Our community will be seen as progressive and growth oriented yet will maintain the cooperative atmosphere of a small town.  We will remain a premier destination within Michigan and promote the community’s Bavarian heritage.  Hospitality and friendliness will be words most frequently used to describe us.

We will continue to provide those living and doing business in our community with the highest quality of life possible.  Those that live in and visit Frankenmuth will recognize that our community is clean, safe and attractive.  We will develop and enhance our strong education system, and with growth, provide opportunities for our youth to remain and prosper in our community.  An excellent infrastructure will support our vision for growth and the maintenance of our high quality of life.  We will build alliances with surrounding communities to promote good will and prosperity.
