MICHIGAN HEROES MUSEUM

Michigan’s Military & Space Heroes Museum is unique in that it is the only museum devoted to the wartime experiences of men and women from the state of Michigan. The museum’s mission is to Honor, Respect, and Remember the memories of Michigan men and women who answered the call to military service during America’s seven foreign wars, from the Spanish-American War to the War on Terrorism. With over 140 displays and a collection of over 700 exhibits, the museum hosts stories devoted to Michigan’s Governors, 15 Astronauts and 31 individual Medal of Honor Recipients, making it the nation’s largest Medal of Honor collection on display.

FRANKENMUTH HISTORICAL MUSEUM

Whether you are familiar with Frankenmuth or new to town, you are sure to learn something new and interesting about Michigan’s Little Bavaria at the Frankenmuth Historical Museum. The seven-gallery museum details the history and evolution of the community, houses a collections department with thousands of artifacts and documents, as well as an education department dedicated to presenting our story. And when you are done with your tour, enjoy the unique gift shop offering locally crafted and European goods.

BAVARIAN BLACKSMITH EXPERIENCE

Calling all Forged In Fire fans - It's YOUR turn to wield the hammer! Located in River Place Shops, The Bavarian Blacksmith Experience allows you to forge your own piece under the guidance of our experienced blacksmiths. Choose to forge your own dagger, knife, wand, rune pendant or other seasonal piece.

SPLASH VILLAGE WATER PARK

With over 50,000 square feet of aquatic excitement all year long, experience Splash Village, the largest indoor waterpark in Frankenmuth currently! Enjoy a six-story family raft ride and super loop drop slide! Have a blast on the Action River, Splash Landing play area, Dumping Bucket, four story tube slides, the Giggling Gorge and Perilous Plunge. End the day relaxing in the Whimsical Whirl Hot Tub or just float along the Lazy River. Waterpark passes are included in your overnight stay!

VISIT AN ARCADE

Arcades can be found throughout Michigan's Little Bavaria. The River Place Game Room, Zehnder's Splash Village Arcade, and Bavarian Inn Family Fun Center will bring out the little kid in everyone!

At the Family Fun Center, located in the lower level of the Bavarian Inn Lodge, you will find 160 arcade games, two water slides, four indoor pools and three whirlpools for overnight guests, and karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights. And did we forget to mention put put golf? The Family Fun Center may host the world’s only Bavarian-themed 18-hole miniature golf course, outside of Bavaria.
