Where is Frankenmuth located?

Michigan’s Little Bavaria is located just minutes East off I-75 between Flint and Saginaw, Michigan. Northbound take Exit #136 or Southbound take Exit #144.


What airports are near by?

If flying into town, MBS International Airport in Freeland and Bishop International Airport in Flint are only 30 minutes away. Or tour through the state by flying into Gerald R. Ford International Airport in Grand Rapids, Capital Region International Airport in Lansing, or Detroit Metropolitan Wayne county Airport, which are only 1-2 hours away.


How long should my group stay in Frankenmuth?

Where can I park my motorcoach or charter bus?

Motorcoach parking can be found directly behind the Visitor’s Center, behind Zehnder’s Restaurant, and behind the River Place Shops. Parking is FREE all across town and most restaurants, hotels, and attractions have designated bus drop off areas.


What’s new in Frankenmuth?

While known for being a place built on tradition, we are committed to expanding traditions and making new places for memories. New festivals and events are always being added to our calendar. Stay up-to-date on what’s coming to town by checking out our events calendar often! New experiences such as the new riverfront boardwalk and 40ft tall musical Christmas tree, have recently been added, making our four seasons a little more fun! And while you’re in town, be sure to stop by some of the newly added and recently remodeled shops to find the perfect souvenir!

Are step-on guides available?

Are there maps available for everyone in my group?

Yes! We can provide everyone in your group with a welcome packet that includes a visitor guide (with a map) and a coupon book! Welcome packets can be picked up upon arrival, dropped off at your lodging accommodations, or mailed ahead of time depending on the quantity needed.


Is Frankenmuth handicap accessible?

All of our hotels and restaurants are handicap accessible and most shops and attractions are as well. Our sidewalks are handicap friendly and many are heated during the winter to ensure safety for all users.
